There's a lot to celebrate this month – from a record 100,000 meals delivered to another great Bingo Bonanza at the Bluffs. Let’s dive in!
Record year: 100,000 meals served to seniors 🎉
We surpassed an exciting milestone: serving 100,000 meals in Fiscal Year 2026! This is a first for our program, reflecting our commitment to serving more local seniors in need!
Interested in nourishing our elders? One of the most impactful ways you can get involved in our Meals on Wheels program is by sponsoring a senior.
The annual cost to feed one senior is more than $3,000, including one nutritionally balanced meal a day, packed with flavor and ingredients from more than 40 local farmers and producers.
Your generosity helps support nutrition and well-being for elders in our community.
Our fourth annual Bingo Bonanza at The Bluffs was a blast! We had a great crowd and raised more than $1,500 for our program. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, especially the staff at The Bluffs Senior Community. Check out the fun on our Instagram.
October 2026 Menu Highlight
Fall is just around the corner, and so are the warm and cozy meals coming out of our kitchen. We’re serving up senior favorites throughout the month. Check out this month’s menu.
You may recognize Amanda from our Twin Lakes and Alston Meet & Eat sites, where she goes above and beyond to make sure seniors enjoy not only a great meal, but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere to gather and connect. Her kindness and dedication help make these sites a place where seniors feel comfortable, valued and welcome. When she isn’t at a Meet & Eat site, you can find Amanda delivering for our frozen meal route or helping out in the kitchen. We are so grateful for all Amanda does each day to support our seniors!
