Houghton County Voters invited to public information sessions to learn about 2025 Elder Nutrition Millage Proposal
A total of 17 public information sessions were scheduled from June 18 to July 21 throughout Houghton County. We’re inviting residents of Houghton County to take part in one of the sessions focused on the 2025 Elder Nutrition Services millage proposal, which appears on the August 5, 2025 ballot.

Thursday, July 10, 5 p.m. at George Gipp Arena in Laurium
Thursday, July 10, 7 p.m. at CLK Schools Lower Level Commons in Calumet
Friday, July 11, 5 p.m. at Franklin Township Hall in Franklin Township
Monday, July 14, 5 p.m. at Dollar Bay-Tamarack City Schools in Dollar Bay
Monday, July 21, 5:30 p.m. at Laird Township Hall in Alston
Copper Country kids are invited to attend Heads UP, on Tuesday, July 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Quincy Green in Hancock. Open to all children entering grades six through nine, the event promotes physical health, mindfulness and nutrition through engaging hands-on activities.
