Welcome Helen!
Helen Love recently joined the Meals on Wheels staff as a Delivery Driver for the Laurium home-delivery route and will be checking in on 35 to 40 people Monday through Friday. Love moved from the Southwest where she spent much of her time enjoying the outdoors, camping and hunting for geodes, shells and minerals. She is excited to find local treasures among the earth and the people.
Kitchen Garden Update
We recently began harvesting produce from our very own kitchen garden, and it’s been a total hit. The flavors are bold and the colors are bright, bringing excitement to our menu and the kitchen staff. To learn more about our kitchen garden, read here.
