Houghton County residents have the opportunity to make their voices heard on August 5, and vote on the 2025 Elder Nutrition Services millage proposal. If passed, we will bring Meals on Wheels to all of Houghton County. To learn more about the proposal and growing need for senior services in Houghton County, visit the Elder Nutrition Services page or check out the links below.
We've already hosted 17 Public Information Sessions about the proposal, and on Tuesday we'll host our 18th. It is at 6 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre / 5th & Elm Coffee House in downtown Hancock. Please join us if you can!
We will deliver a shelf stable meal to all routes on Wednesday, June 30 for Friday's meal. If you have any questions give our office a call, 1 (906) 483-1155.
