Copper Shores Community Health Foundation has officially opened applications for GivingTuesday 2025. Copper Country nonprofits are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by noon on Monday, October 6, 2025.
GivingTuesday happens on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year on December 2, as a way for the community to give back to the nonprofit organizations that make Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties more healthful. With a boost from Copper Shores’ Amplification Fund, more than $4.7 million has been raised for nonprofits through community donations since 2017.
To apply, nonprofits need to complete the form found below. In addition to answering some basic questions, Copper Shores requires that nonprofits submit their license to solicit while filling out the application. If this filing is not current, Copper Shores will also need proof of granted time extension or proof of submission. Apply by noon on Monday, October 6, 2025.
