This week marks a huge milestone for the trail system: the Swedetown Trails Club just launched its crowdfunding campaign to upgrade the chalet, and the community is already showing up in a big way — over $26,000 raised in the first days alone!
Here's the best part: if the campaign hits $50,000, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation will match it dollar-for-dollar with an additional $50,000. That's a shot at $100,000 in total support to help bring this project to life.
