Making Transportation Costs Easier for Cancer Patients
The Keller Family Community Foundation “Ride with Claudia” Transportation Fund was created in January 2023 to help people of the Copper Country fighting cancer have a little bit less to worry about by providing gas cards to help offset the cost of traveling for treatment.
Cancer presents innumerable challenges, but the "Ride with Claudia" Fund takes a bit of the burden off the patients and their loved ones.
Any patient from Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw or Ontonagon County seeking cancer treatment through the UP Health System-Portage is eligible for funding. If you know someone who could benefit from this, instruct them to talk to their medical provider at their next appointment.
