Join Copper Shores Outreach & Education and Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds for a day that brings our community together for laughter, connection and support. The Family Fun Fair and Resource Fair are on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Calumet Colosseum. This free, family-friendly event is open to all and designed to offer something for everyone.

Head to the rink for the Family Fun Fair, hosted by Copper Shores Outreach & Education, where kids can take part in games, activities and plenty of smiles in a lively, welcoming space. People can try their luck with door prizes for all members of the family and enjoy free concessions throughout the event.

“Children grow and thrive through connection,” Copper Shores Youth Development Specialist Callisto Cortez said. “Taking time to play, explore and enjoy experiences together helps build confidence, trust and emotional well-being. We hope families will come out and make meaningful memories together.”

Explore the Resource Fair upstairs in the ballroom, hosted by Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds to connect with local organizations, discover valuable services, and learn more about resources for mental health and substance use support in our community.

“When people know where to turn for support, it can make all the difference,” said Michelle Morgan of Keweenaw Support 4 Healthy Minds. “A strong support network is the foundation of any resilient community, and we have a lot of resources here. Join us, start those conversations and strengthen your support system.”

This event was made possible by a collaborative Community Policing Grant with the Lake Linden Village Police Department to support the mental health and wellness of the community.

The Family Fun Fair and Resource Fair offer something meaningful for everyone, whether it’s a prize, resource, memory or new sense of community. Come for the fun, stay for the connections and leave with something valuable.
