Concept papers are intended to better inform Copper Shores of the various needs across the community and how best to prioritize long-term funding plans. This grant cycle is intentionally open ended, allowing nonprofits to seek funding based on project size rather than change the project size to fit available funding.
The funding from this grant is intended to support Copper Country nonprofits looking to improve their facilities, enhance accessibility and strengthen their capacity to deliver health- and wellness-related services to Copper Country residents. Capital improvements can include, but are not limited to equipment replacements, building renovations, upgrading technology and expanding facilities to serve more community members.
Concept papers must be submitted to grants@coppershores.org by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026. For questions or concerns regarding concept papers, contact Grants Manager Mary Jo Munch at mmunch@coppershores.org or 1 (906) 523-5920 ext. 2003.
