Strengthen nonprofit spaces with new grant
January 20, 2026 | By Emilie Jacques
Copper Shores Community Health Foundation is seeking nonprofit concept papers for capital improvement projects across the Copper Country. Part of a brand new grant cycle at Copper Shores, the Nonprofit Capital Improvements Grant does not have a maximum award amount. Concept papers are due by 5 p.m. on March 20, 2026. Nonprofits with competitive concept papers will be invited to submit a formal application for further consideration.
Concept papers are intended to better inform Copper Shores of the various needs across the community and how best to prioritize long-term funding plans. This grant cycle is intentionally open ended, allowing nonprofits to seek funding based on project size rather than change the project size to fit available funding.
The funding from this grant is intended to support Copper Country nonprofits looking to improve their facilities, enhance accessibility and strengthen their capacity to deliver health- and wellness-related services to Copper Country residents. Capital improvements can include, but are not limited to equipment replacements, building renovations, upgrading technology and expanding facilities to serve more community members.
