Copper Shores Meals on Wheels

Homemade meals, frozen for freshness, delivered every Monday.

Our weekly frozen meal delivery route extends Meals on Wheels services to seniors living beyond our current daily home-delivery areas, providing 5 or 7 frozen meals every Monday. Seniors on this route receive the same delicious and nutritionally balanced meals as those who receive daily meals or attend Meet & Eat.

Why start a weekly frozen delivery route?

This route allows us to assess community needs and plan for continued daily home-delivery route expansion without completely withholding services from seniors in need.

If you know a senior who needs meal delivery services but lives outside our current daily service area, they may be eligible for weekly frozen deliveries. As more seniors enroll in the program, Meals on Wheels will continue to expand its home-delivery routes to serve additional communities in Houghton County.

Copper Shores Meals on Wheels serves Houghton and Keweenaw County seniors who need support staying nourished and connected at home.
