About Training

Learn to identify the signs and evidence of human trafficking and how to respond.

Though hidden in plain sight, human trafficking leaves behind recognizable patterns. Anyone can learn to recognize these patterns and take the first steps in identifying potential victims. Together we can break silence surrounding the crime, strengthen legal responses and empower the Copper Country.

Who is this training for?

This training is primarily geared towards establishments with high traffic, but is also a great choice for community members.

Continued Education

This training counts towards the 1 hour per year continued education required by the State of Michigan for hotels and medical facilities. It does not count towards Masters in Social Work Continued Education Units.

This training is offered at no cost to community members in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties.
