I love books, cats and long walks on the beach. I have a BA in Creative Writing from Columbia College and an MLIS with a focus in teen/youth services from San Jose State University.

I worked in public libraries for five years and school libraries for four. I love helping kids bridge gaps in development and feel more empowered within their life and community. I love working with parents and caregivers to feel like they have the tools necessary to succeed.

Did you know that a latex allergy can develop into a latex food allergy? That list of latex foods is a mile long. I miss spicy salsa, pepperoni pizza and mango smoothies.
