"Lori has been an invaluable part of our gift shop team, consistently going above and beyond in her volunteer role. She brings great care and attention to every task, from managing inventory, pricing and sales coordination, to thoughtfully organizing displays that create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for customers. Despite rising wholesale and shipping costs, she works hard to keep prices fair while maintaining transparency with volunteers and honoring customers. She not only handles the complex task of entering new merchandise into the system (which the rest of the volunteers try not to be involved with!), but also uplifts the entire team by recognizing others’ contributions and encouraging collaboration. Her leadership is thoughtful, detail-oriented and generous, with reliability, kindness and a can-do attitude that have made her a cornerstone of our team.
