[Hancock, MI] The Portage Health Foundation has teamed up with local area Chambers of Commerce to bring a leadership conference to the Copper Country in September. The Ignite Leadership Conference is scheduled to be held on Friday Sept. 25, 2015 at the Magnusson Franklin Square Inn located in downtown Houghton.
Organizers of the Ignite Leadership Conference said this event is intended to help bring resources and experts in various areas of community leadership and development to us right here. “It is a too often occurrence that our community leaders have to travel great distances to attend a conference that provides this type of content,” said Kevin Store, Executive Director of the Portage Health Foundation. “We wanted to bring the experts here, to our community, so more people from more organizations can attend.”
