Mobile food pantry coming to Copper Country communities in early 2026
February 4, 2026 | By Emilie Jacques
To help support nutritional well-being across the Copper Country, Copper Shores Community Health Foundation has partnered with Feeding America West Michigan to co-sponsor mobile food pantry deliveries in Calumet, Chassell and Ontonagon throughout early 2026.
Mobile food pantries provide a variety of food, including fresh produce and dairy products, all at no cost to community members. Attendees will only need to provide basic contact information and affirm a need for food; identification or proof of income are not required. Food is distributed in a drive-through format, with each delivery serving approximately 300 families.
