Copper Shores Meals on Wheels' third year participating in Subaru’s Share the Love Event

2025-STL-5-Million-MealsCopper Shores Meals on Wheels is grateful to receive $2,319.31 in funding from the Subaru Share the Love Event in 2024. This is the third year that Subaru has shared the love with the foundation, but Subaru has been working with Meals on Wheels America for nearly two decades. Since 2008, Subaru has donated more than $30 million to Meals on Wheels programs across the country.

For every new vehicle that is purchased or leased during the Share the Love Event, Subaru donates at least $300 to a charity like Meals on Wheels. A service like Meals on Wheels goes far beyond food delivery, and Subaru recognizes the importance of companionship for those who cannot get out.

Millions of seniors face loneliness and isolation, something both Meals on Wheels and Subaru aim to mitigate. Though Meals on Wheels is largely known for its meal deliveries, the drivers also spend time talking to seniors and checking in on them during each visit.

In total, Copper Shores Meals on Wheels has received $7,291.15 during its three years of participating in this program, and is looking forward to delivering meals and sharing the love for many years to come.
