I recently moved back to the UP after nearly 20 years in Wisconsin, raising my two daughters. I hold an AAS degree in Human Services from Suomi College, and a BS in Early Childhood Psychology from NMU. I love to cook and try new foods, but when it's time to relax, you'll often find me being creative. I enjoy crafting, sewing, photography and anything to do with animals (both mine and yours).

My life, education and career choices have always centered around helping others. Nonprofit agencies provide opportunities to improve the lives of others. I feel that community involvement, whether through funding, advocacy and/or volunteerism, allows us to fill the gaps in critical social services that are needed to foster local economic growth.
