The Copper Country has always been my home. I grew up in Toivola and graduated from Jeffers High School. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University with a major in Environmental Conservation. My family, nature, animals and the outdoors are some of my favorite things!

I really enjoy Rodeo. Up North Cafe in Ontonagon has recently become a favorite for my mom and me.

There are so many great nonprofits in our local community covering a wide array of services. In the past I have tried to volunteer and donate as I was able, so I look forward to assisting with their causes more directly.

I have a soft spot for the humane societies and animal shelters - I follow way too many of them and want to bring home all the fur babies!

(Once upon a time) I was able to swim 500 yards in 7 minutes and 28 seconds.

A good pasty doesn't need anything! Ketchup when it's needed though. :)
