Congratulations to the latest Superior Educator - Kristina Penfold of Copper Country Intermediate School District.

"Kristina is a glowing beacon to all involved in special education in the Copper Country. She has a wealth of knowledge and support for her staff, all of our area districts' special education professionals, in addition to the many families and students that are served in our community. Kristina also comes to every Parent Advisory Committee after her full work day, to offer support and expertise to a group of parents that represent various school districts in our area, all of whom have children with special educational challenges. She is also willing to lend a listening and supportive ear to individual parents that are having struggles with getting the help they need for their children. The Copper Country is very fortunate to have Kristina leading the way for special education in our community."
