Congratulations to Rebecca Keyes of Houghton-Portage Township Schools, October 2026 Superior Educator!
"Ms. Keyes has been several of my children's favorite English teacher! She integrates interesting projects into literature assignments to deepen the students' understanding of characters and themes. She has a wonderful rapport with students, engaging them with humor while still maintaining authority in the classroom. As yearbook coordinator and quiz bowl coach, she gives even more time and expertise to the students of Houghton High! She is indeed a Superior Educator!"
