May 2026 Menu Highlight at Copper Shores Meals on Wheels

Local producers are growing food, and we’re growing our capacity to serve seniors right alongside them. As a new season begins, fresh produce returns to our kitchens, and our partnerships with local growers continue to deepen. Our Meals on Wheels program is about more than just a meal; it’s a shared commitment with partners and supporters who believe seniors deserve access to fresh, high-quality and locally sourced ingredients.
Some of the meals featuring local ingredients include:
- Tuesday, May 5 - Chicken caesar salad with a breadstick and fruited jello
- Friday, May 8 - Barbecue chicken pizza with a side salad and fresh fruit
- Thursday, May 14 - Sausage tortellini soup with garlic bread and a brownie

Thursday, May 28 - Sweet & sour pork with stir fried vegetables, rice and a cookie
