Whether you weren’t able to attend, or you had so much fun that you want to do it all over again, now is your chance to relive the magic of the second annual Copper Shores Community-Wide Picnic.
On Sunday July 30, 2023, Copper Shores Community Health Foundation held the second annual Copper Shores Community-Wide Picnic. The Waterfront Park in downtown L’Anse served as the stunning backdrop for the day.
The sun was shining, the weather was beautiful, and the water was inviting, all for a day filled with family fun. Between the bounce houses, live music, cornhole, dunk tank, nonprofit exposé and raffle prizes, there was something for everyone to do. It was important that this event was free, as the folks at Copper Shores wanted to say thank you and give back to one of the communities that has given so much to us. We also wanted to say thank you to all of the local organizations and nonprofits that we work with by giving them a place to spread the word about the incredible work they do.
The picnic serves as a perfect venue for local organizations to show off what they do. Copper Shores was excited for the opportunity to get down to L’Anse, get to know the people we serve, and strengthen connections with the local partners and nonprofits that we work with from the area.
The exposé for the local organizations was a big hit, helping them spread the word about what they do for people in the community, as well as connect them with each other to strengthen everyone's ability to serve. Next year we are excited to make the event even better. Maybe we'll bring the fun to your community.
