Explore Infant Feeding Fundamentals with local health professionals
Building Blocks: Infant Feeding Fundamentals returns on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Tree House Family Resources in Houghton. Parents, grandparents, day care providers and other infant caretakers are invited to learn about infant nutrition basics, allergen introductions, proper feeding posture, fine motor skill development and more from local health professionals. Infants around 12 months old, or younger, are welcome at this hands-on, interactive event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to try out new, evidence-based approaches, tools, tips, and techniques in a safe and supportive environment. Many of the presenters are not only health professionals, but parents themselves, and have first-hand experience raising little ones. In addition, attendees will have the chance to walk away with prizes that are directly related to the presentations and recommendations provided at Building Blocks.
