Comm. Nutrition Ed. Needs Survey 1x1Copper Shores Community Health Foundation invites residents across Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw and Ontonagon counties to share their perspectives on nutrition and healthy eating through the 2026 Community Nutrition Education Needs Survey, open now through Tuesday, March 31. This short survey is designed to elevate community voices and ensure future nutrition education programming from Copper Shores reflects the real experiences, challenges and priorities of local residents.

“Most people face barriers to eating the way they'd like at some point in their life,” Community Health Educator and registered dietitian Meghan Jaszczak said. “This is a wonderful educational opportunity for us. Community input better informs and ultimately better positions us to address the unique factors that make it difficult for everyday people and families in our community to reach their nutrition goals.”

The survey is part of an ongoing effort to track trends and incorporate community feedback into programming decisions and the delivery of future nutrition education initiatives. Copper Shores opens the Community Nutrition Education Needs Survey every three years to monitor changes in community experiences, identify emerging challenges and gather updated input from residents.
