We’ve reached our first Elder Nutrition Millage milestone, our fall soiree raised nearly $60,000 and we accepted a large food donation from Isle Royale last week!
Thank you to everyone that joined us at our annual fundraising soirée on Sept. 20, or made a donation to sponsor a senior and support our Meals on Wheels program. We’re still counting, but as of now, we’ve brought in more than $58,000 - enough to feed 19 seniors for an entire year!
We would LOVE to have you help get that number over $60,000 to support 20 seniors for an entire year! You can make a donation now at coppersores.org/soiree.
Elder Nutrition Millage milestone
We are very excited to announce that as of September 23, 2025, our Meals on Wheels waiting list has officially been cleared! With eager anticipation of guaranteed funding over the next four years, we were able to spend more upfront and get folks off the list and on the program as soon as possible.
Ranger III returns with donations
Once again, Rock Harbor Lodge on Isle Royale has decided to generously donate their remaining inventory of frozen meats and nonperishables to our program, helping feed seniors and reduce food waste.
